Preparing for your internship in Russia
Once you have been matched with a host company or research institution in RUSSIA, we will work with you to prepare for your trip. Preparations include:
- attending MIT-RUSSIA training session
- obtaining a work permit and visa
- purchasing airline tickets
- finding housing in RUSSIA
- info about your stipend and banking
- purchasing health insurance
- signing a risk and release form
MIT-Russia training
Accepted students are required to attend the spring Russia Program Orientation Meeting and the program's information session where more detailed practical information will be provided. Questions related to daily life in Russia will be answered then.
