La Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona Project

MIT-Spain is pleased to announce the launch of "La Cambra de Comerc de Barcelona Project." The objectives of the project are

  • to introduce well-trained MIT students to Spanish firms as interns through the Cambra Fellows Program;
  • to broaden the exchanges between MIT and Spanish graduate students by seeding collaborative research projects;
  • to promote the exchange of knowledge between the MIT community and young professionals working in Spain in Spanish companies through joint workshops and on-campus networking sessions.
  • Through activities such as conferences, lectures and seminars, and academics, government officials and top business leaders may be brought together around issues critical to business interests.

"Working for the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce was absolutely one of the best decisions I have ever made at MIT.  It was amazing!  I had the chance to work on two high-impact global projects and to form solid ideas about how to work with Barcelona and Western Europe in my future endeavors in the arena of international business.  At the same time, I got to explore the beautiful city of Barcelona.  I plan to continue keeping in touch with everyone I met during my internship and work with them again from a different angle in the future".
