"We benefitted greatly from bringing a young person from MIT to provide a fresh view into our team and our research. We are willing to keep on collaborating since we believe USA-Spain collaboration brings a lot of enrichment to both sides. You learn different ways to look at things, different cultures, different ideas..."
-Ana Maiques, Business Development Manager, Starlab

The MIT-Spain Program works with leading companies in all major industrial sectors, research institutes, and universities to place MIT interns and young researchers in Spain.

"How can our company/institution take full advantage of the intern's skills and know-how during their stay?"

1. Maintain fluid communication with MIT-Spain. The Program Coordinator, Alicia Goldstein (aliciag@mit.edu) is always available to resolve issues as well as receive feedback.
2. Give significant and meaningful work to the MIT intern and involve him/her in the daily functioning of your company/institution. By doing this, the intern will learn about the inner workings of your company/institution and better be able to help you connect with professors, researchers and with the innovative MIT community at large.

"How can we communicate on our web page or with the press that we are participating in the MIT-Spain Program as a host institution?"

MIT-Spain is delighted that its host institutions consider hosting MIT talent newsworthy. We strongly recommend that any text be revised by MIT-Spain prior to publication. All communications should include the following definition of MIT-Spain:
