MIT's primary international program, MISTI connects you to hands-on professional and research internships in sixteen countries around the world. To help make an international experience available to every MIT student, MISTI internships are all-expenses-paid (that includes airfare!).
MISTI country program managers work closely with you to find a host and project aligned with your skills and interests. Language and culture courses and MISTI-designed preparation help you make the most of your international experience.
Innovate
Post-internship, build on the experience by creating a MISTI 2.0 project, pursuing a Minor in Applied International Studies... or doing another internship.
Beyond internships, MISTI offers study abroad and workshops with corporate partners. Or participate in faculty led international research collaboration through MISTI Global Seed Funds.
