Because language proficiency and cultural acclimation are essential to successful experiences abroad, you will want to focus on internships in countries in which you can speak the language. Or choose a country or an opportunity that interests you and work to learn the language. Consult the country program site to determine the language requirement for that region — and the best way to attain that level of fluency.
Define your criteria.
Are you interested in a year-long or summer internship? Drawing on our extensive network of partner universities, research facilities, companies, and NGOs, we will work with you to design an internship that meets your personal and professional goals. We also provide in-depth cultural orientations so that you will be up, running, and comfortable from your first day on the job.
