- CALL FOR PROPOSALS: The MIT-France Seed Fund for Collaborative Research supports budding research collaborations between faculty and researchers at MIT and their counterparts in France. Last year 18 collaborative teams received a total of $170,750 in funding. The deadline for the current round was January 7, 2008.
- APPLY NOW for an internship in France in 2008 through the MIT-France Program. MIT-France places students of all levels and majors in internships with leading companies, research institutes and schools in France. Read about one student's experience at the Paris Observatory last summer.
MIT course in Nigeria promotes science-based approach in poverty fight
With support from MIT-France corporate partner Total, the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab conducted a course in Nigeria to promote the use of randomized evaluations of antipoverty programs.
