Abstract:
In a new era of changes in the global exchanges industry, exemplified by cross-border mergers and acquisitions among exchanges worldwide, Hellenic Exchanges responds to the challenge and charts its course with an emerging strategy in Southeastern Europe. The lecture will focus on how HELEX draws a strategic roadmap for growth in a region comprising of 11 countries and more than 150million people.

March 2004-October 2004 Secretary General for the Athens Olympic Games, appointed directly by the Prime Minister. City Manager of Athens during the Olympic Games
2000-2004 Executive Director, Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board of the Organizing Committee for the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games
1997- 2000 Managing Director of EFG Balkan Investments, subsidiary company of the Latsis Bank Group
Vice Chairman of the Board of Bulgarian Post Bank (1998-2000),
Managing Director of the Bank of Athens (1998 -1999)
1994-1997 Founder and C.E.O. of EPIRUS Co., (a dairy products company specialized in feta cheese. The company was sold in 1997 to the local distributor).
