MIT-Greece is a co-ordinated initiative to increase
ties between MIT and Greek research and business organizations.
Key objectives of the initiative include the facilitation of internships
for qualified MIT students to live, innovate and work in Greece
and the organization of professional and cultural events at MIT
through an on-campus forum, the MIT-Greece forum.
MIT-Greece efforts further focus on the creation of
an educational infrastructure at MIT that will enable the establishment
of an MIT-Greece program that is equivalent to existing ones that
MIT administers for other countries. Once in operation, the program
will assist students and faculty in gaining an in-depth understanding
of Greek society and becoming collaborators in knowledge networks
with the country.
