January 2003 marks the second year of IAP offerings by MITGWG with a course entitled "Alexander the Great' and his conquests: West Against East?" Arrian's book on Alexander and his campaigns will be the primary text. Partha Bose, chief marketing officer of Monitor group, will also attend as a guest speaker to discuss a chapter of his upcoming book "Alexander the Great's Art of Strategy: The Timeless Lessons of History's Greatest Empire Builder" . In October 2002, the fall event of the MIT-Greece forum took place with a presentation by Mr Theodore Varelas, Director of Theta Microelectronics, a wireless fab semiconductor start-up and sponsor of the MIT-Greece working group

In April 2002, the spring event of the MIT-Greece forum took place with a presentation by Mr. Stelios Haji-ioannou, Founder & CEO of Easygroup on the subject of: 'Risks and benefits of brand extention'

In January 2002, the first IAP course was successfully organized at MIT under the title:

In May 2001 two important visits took place that serve as examples of the initiative's value.

First, the Minister of National Economy of Greece, Mr. Yannos Papantoniou, visited MIT.
Second, the President of MIT, Mr. Charles Vest, visited Greece.
