Start Your Engines! MITAC hosts its first MIT Vehicle Show for the MIT Community! As cars, trucks, motorcycles and other vehicles are an evolution of art, technology, engineering, and design, the MIT Vehicle Show will showcase some of the powered and unpowered vehicular standouts, both at MIT (products/subjects of MIT research), as well as interesting collectors' vehicles owned by members of the MIT community. Participation includes the MIT Age Lab (Center for Transportation and Logistics), MIT AeroAstro, MIT Mechanical Engineering, MIT ROTC, MIT Facilities; with vehicles including an autonomous car, Army HMMVV, one of the MIT AgeLab's instrumented vehicles (older driver and new in-vehicle technology), electric vehicles from MIT Facilities (including the Electric Transit, GEM, and Kubota), and other interesting, fun, vintage, unusual, or otherwise distinctive vehicles. Special appearance by Ray Magliozzi, longtime co-host of NPR's weekly radio show, Car Talk.
