Cost includes a brewing session of six different types of beers: Bambino Summer Ale, Chocolate Thunder, Best Brown, Off-centered IPA, Brewkeeper's Honey Lager, and a Milk Stout. Part I of Brewing School (May 17) includes approximately 3-4 hours of the brewing process. Part II of Brewing School (June 7) includes four to six hours of bottling the beer that you've brewed. You'll go home with one case (24 12-ounce bottles) of beer, comprised of all 6 beer varieties. Hosted by John Gibbs. Explore the amazing labyrinths of tunnels, walkways and passageways underneath 77 Massachusetts Avenue on a unique Subterranean Landscape Tour of MIT. The underground tunnel system at MIT - famous for igniting mysterious routes of travel at the Institute - is explored with host John Gibbs, Supervisor/Coach, Department of Facilities. The route (all underground, from the Infinite Corridor to Kendall Square and beyond) begins in Lobby 7, and continues to building E25. Tour will last approximately 30 minutes. A map will be provided. Space is limited. No phone-in reservations. Tickets must be ordered in person at MITAC.
