alya: I delegate to Yuran.

yuranlu: Welcome to mitBEEF!  If you want to learn how to make beef
jerky, talk to me or Alya.  We have a machine to grind the meat, one
to dehydrate it, and one to put it in strips.

alya: Also, if you want to borrow the equipment (especially if you
live at random), talk to me.

alya: We need to get people to volunteer for events.  Does anyone want
to organize a beef cookoff?

(Discussion of making a beef event at CPW)

alya: Another event we do is the Great American Meat-in, the friday
before the Great American Meat-Out (when vegetarians urge people not
to eat meat).  We give out jerky in lobby 10.

tabbott: If the vegetarians are doing something in lobby 10, we should
do it the same day.

alya:  I need to reserve tables for the CPW activities fair.

alya:  There's this guy that would let us come to his house, learn
about beef.

yuranlu: It's like one of those wine-tasting seminars, but with beef.

alya: The thing with inviting people,  it always gets brought up, but
nothing ever happens.  If you're excited about it, feel free to
organize something.
