The TechCASH program is a great addition to the MIT Rewards and Recognition program. The convenience of a TechCash gift is a great reward for any employee working on campus. From picking up their morning coffee to getting a haircut, the TechCash program has something for everyone.

The amount of the reward is entirely up to the local Rewards and Recognition program. Like a gift card, the recipient draws down the balance until it is all used.

There are two convenient ways to give a TechCash reward to an MIT employee:

Procurement Card Deposit

Chances are good that the employee already has a TechCash account. In this case, all you will need is the employee's MIT ID number and a department procurement card. Use our web interface to immediately add the reward amount to the employee's account.

Print out this preformatted certificate to notify the employee of the award, and the availability of the funds. The minimum amount of the award that can be processed is $25.

TechCash Gift Card

We offer our own Rewards and Recognition gift card. For a fee of $3.00 we will produce a card in the amount of your choosing (min. $25) that is valid everywhere TechCash is accepted. The gift cards come with a personalized certificate announcing the award and a list of TechCash merchants.

These gift cards can be replenished by the recipient after the award amount is depleted, by using the web interface and the gift card serial number.
