MITE2S 2001 Enterprise Fair

After intense weeks of business training, the students are ready for the Enterprise Fair. With marketing schemes, financial projects and cash flow worksheets at the ready, they compete for "investment capital." After introducing their companies and presenting their new product ideas, they must convince real-life entrepreneurs, standing in as venture capitalists, to invest in their ventures.

This year's participants in the EntrePrep™ program also took part in the LEGO® robotics design contest.

Enterprise Fair winners with staff: (back, from left) Christopher Resto (instructor), Ian Ybarra (teaching assistant), Marja Mullings (Marietta, GA), Eric Momin (Acworth, GA), Goerge Baker, III (Louisville, KY), Zhelinrentice Scott (teaching assitant); (front, from left) Edward McClain (Cambridge, MA), Thaikisha Alvarez (Allentown, PA), Jessica Peters (Galt, CA), Maria Gomes (Dorchester, MA), Philip Castaneda, Jr. (Lawton, OK)
