Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD
a new song, his praise in the
assembly of the saints.
(Ps 149:1)
is where we come together as an entire fellowship to worship with each other. At the end of a long and tiring week, it's always fun to relax and see your friends on Friday night.
The meetings typically involve praise and worship, prayer, and a brief (30-40 minute) talk by a speaker. In the past, Christian MIT professors, InterVarsity staff, local pastors and community leaders, and nationally recognized evangelists have spoken to GCF. Our members also give talks on their experiences being Christians at MIT.
A Friday evening often ends with going for ice cream with friends. We sometimes have dinner together at or before large group as well. Come join us -- we look forward to meeting you!
Thrive
Are you a first-year grad student? We would like to invite you to a series of biweekly (once every two weeks) dinners
throughout the Fall Semester where we talk about specific topics relevant to grad school (e.g. how to deal with failure
and disappointment, the importance of finding a Christian community, research effectiveness, etc).
We want to equip incoming students as much as possible, so you can thrive in graduate school!
Contact Stephanie Lam (stephlam) or Kunle Adeyemo (adeyemo) for more information.
