MIT GCF Barbecue Fall 2002
We had our fall barbecue this year in the courtyard of
Sidney-Pacific, the new MIT graduate dorm. First we played
whiffleball and grilled burgers and hot dogs, then when it got
dark we went indoors to the multipurpose room and played board
games. It was a great opportunity to relax and know each other
better.
BTW, whiffleball is like baseball, but with a really light
ball.

Before the festivities started, Joe and his mom get some
quality time. This was her first visit to Boston. |
Daniel, Micah, Jason, and Joe can't wait to play
whiffleball. |
|
|
Both Steve and Debbie take their shots at
the whiffleball. |
|
|
Even Brits (i.e. David) can play whiffleball! |
Colin (Ashe) bats and Colin (Joye) catches. |
|
|
Donald, Steve, and Amy would rather have food. |
And Greg is trying his best to satisfy all the hungry
people. |
|
|
First-year ChemE's Joe, Micah, and Jason chow down those
burgers. |
While nth-year ChemE's Tim, Ken, and Ed staunchly resist
the lure of free food long enough to pose sans burgers. |
