MIT GCF Fall 2002 International Potluck Photos

We've held numerous international potlucks over the years, where everyone brings a dish from their hometown - whether it's Indiana or India. It's one of our most popular events of the year. Everyone loves food, so it's a great way to invite your friends and introduce them to GCF!

People start arriving for the potluck. The bearded guys ignore their hunger long enough to pose for this picture.
Ed and Amy are so happy together! That Wes, Steve, and Ken need to keep an eye on them.
Ji-Jon welcomes everyone to the potluck, and later prays for the food. And of course piles on the food.
Kevin's making his famous Monterey Jack quesadillas. Not to be outdone, Tim made a perfect cheesecake with strawberry topping.
People happy to eat! Except for Ed, who looks like he's choking.
And talk! Since we're all from different states and countries, we love to learn more about each other.
Muyiwa rages on about Sloanies and how they always dress nicely and carry cell phones, while Angie and Tolu can't believe how juvenile Muyiwa is. Cynthia and Joe take a break from their after-dinner chemistry conversations to comment on how Muyiwa is embarrassing himself.
LaRuth and Ji-Jon listen to Mrs. Dalbey. Steve and Daniel practice juggling to kill time while waiting for Ji-Jon to finish talking.
Kevin, Joe, Keith, and Janet got hooked on playing "Settlers of Catan". Steve, Ken, Daniel, and Ji-Jon were thus stuck playing "Settlers of Canaan" instead.
