Rev. Will Messenger serves as Director of the Boston Division of the Business Leadership and Spirituality Network and as the Director of the Center for Faith and Ethics in the Workplace at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. In addition, Will leads Gordon-Conwell's Doctor of Ministry program in the Church and the Workplace. Will is an ordained minister (priest) in the Episcopal Church.

Will's particular interest in the intersection of Christian faith and the core activities of the business enterprise. How can the resources of the Christian faith – the Bible, prayer, theology, worship, community and friendship, among many others – contribute to the mission of the enterprise? In what ways should faith challenge the enterprise's activities? How can you combine the best practices of management science with grounding of life in Christ? Will's premise is that businesses and the people who work in them are as much a part of God's kingdom as are churches and church workers, or at least they should be! But very few Christians find that there are being equipped to live out their faith at work. Both the Business Leadership and Spirituality Network and the Mockler Center are dedicated to preparing people to follow Jesus within the context of the pluralistic business enterprise.

Will brings a wealth of experience in both business leadership and spiritual formation. He has served as the chief operating officer of Advanced Metabolic Systems, as a strategy and organizational leadership consultant with McKinsey & Co. and in private practice, as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs, and as a marketing representative with IBM Corporation. He served as the Assistant Rector of All Saint's Episcopal Church in Belmont, MA prior to joining Gordon-Conwell and BLSN.

Will lives in Belmont, Massachusetts, with his wife, Kim and two daughters.
