MRI Safety & Training
MRI Safety Training
Anyone involved in running an experiment on or around the 3T scanner is required to take the MRI safety training course.
Next safety trainings (to be held in room 46-4062 or 46-4199):
- Tuesday October 21, 2008 from 2-4pm
- Wednesday November 12, 2008 from 1-3pm
If you plan to attend, please email Steve Shannon. Please bring a pen and be prepared to stay for 2 hrs. The class will start with a safety video, lecture, and quiz. If you are not present at the start of the video you will be asked to attend at a later date.
In general, safety trainings at MIT are held every two weeks and the date, time, and location is announced a few days in advance.
