Build Your Career On-Ramp at MIT
Contemporary careers must be built—and rebuilt—to meet the demands of rapidly-changing fields. The new MIT Midcareer Acceleration Program (MAP) can help you sharpen the skills essential to relaunch your career. This ten-month, part-time program was developed to help overcome barriers, such as a lag in current knowledge, that can result when talented people leave demanding careers—even for a short time.
Today’s employers want to hire motivated people who are driving their own career reentry and can quickly contribute to their new workplace. They seek excellent engineers and scientists who have taken the initiative to acquire new technical knowledge and hands-on experience with current industry practices. MAP meets today’s industry demands by engaging you in advanced education and direct experience that demonstrates your commitment to professional growth.
Information Sessions: Informal Information Sessions will be scheduled for potential MAP participants on the following dates in 2008: July 2, August 5, and August 13. If you are interested in attending, please let us know by submitting your information session request for details.
