What kind of media player do I need to view the videos?

The videos are available in streaming media delivered through a free version of Real Player software.

Do I need to register, subscribe, or pay?

No. The MIT World Web site is free and open to all.

Can I download the video?

Viewers cannot currently download and save video or audio files. However, MIT World plans to offer downloadable audio files in 2006.

How extensive is the archive?

MIT World's archive dates back to 2000. About 75 new videos are added to the site each year.

Can I use the videos in my classroom or training site?

Yes. All videos are available on demand and are permanently archived on the site. You do not need special permission to use the material as part of classroom instruction and/or corporate training.
