Earn Continuing Education Units

In addition to receiving a certificate, MIT Professional Institute (PI) participants earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). A Continuing Education Unit is a measure used in continuing education programs, particularly those required in a licensed profession. A CEU is not an academic credit; however, it is a nationally recognized method of quantifying the time spent in the classroom during professional development and training activities. Units for each PI course are specified on the course information page and are calculated based on learning contact hours.

To earn CEUs

• Review the learning objectives (course description)
• Attend all course sessions
• Provide feedback on your learning experience by completing and returning an evaluation survey that will be sent to you by email soon after the course has ended

Upon completion of the course and receipt of the feedback form, you will receive an email letter from PI awarding CEUs.

The Professional Institute is certified as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), an organization that evaluates programs according to strict, research-based criteria and guidelines.
