AFTER YOUR POSTDOCTORAL TRAINING

There are many career information resources available. These include offices at MIT that provide a variety of career services and a number of web sites.

MIT Office of Career Services: Offers evaluations of resume/CV on a walk-in basis (during the academic year), as well as career counseling by appointment, and sponsors seminars and workshops. Postdocs may participate in on campus recruiting by completing an online registration form. The Career Services web site links to PhD Field Specific career fields.

Human Resource Office - Workforce & Career Planning: has a number of career planning and assessment services and offers meetings with a consultant, utilization of assessment tools, informational interviewing techniques, and resume preparation.
