Project/Events Assistant for Outreach Coordinator

Job Description: Assist the Outreach Coordinator with various projects and events, including running the MIT Giving Tree, a campus-wide gift drive, in the fall, and coordinating the MIT/Cambridge Science Expo, a non-competitive science fair for middle school students, in the spring.

Other work will include helping with special projects and performing general office tasks. Additionally, as a PSC staff member, you will pitch in to help the office run smoothly, including doing basic community service advising.

Qualifications: This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in community service and event coordination. You should have excellent organization and interpersonal skills, as well as a sharp attention to detail. Previous program planning experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, a plus but not required. You must be able to work in a busy office with a hard working but fun staff.
