Do you enjoy research? Are you curious about how to make service more effective? Help work on some of the MIT Public Service Center's research initiatives. We are looking for a dedicated, detailed-oriented person to work with us on evaluating our programs and investigating different grant opportunities. If you would enjoy helping to connect public service research with practice this is the opportunity for you!

Possible tasks include:

• Researching local and national grant opportunities and looking into relevant literature bases
• Constructing metrics for program evaluation and development
• Looking into service activities taking place locally, nationally and internationally
• Creating databases and entering program data
• Helping to tabulate results and structure reports

Qualifications: Interest in research, good written communication skills, patience and attention to detail is essential. Previous experience with research and literature searches a plus.
