Have you ever finished a class wondering if what you're learning could be applied to real world problems? Service Learning provides the opportunity to undertake service projects as part of your course work, helping students understand material more deeply, appreciate the social context of knowledge and make positive contributions to communities locally, nationally and globally.

By joining the Public Service Center as a Project Assistant, you can support the growth and recognition of Service Learning across the Institute. Projects include:

• Conduct group interviews about Service Learning
• Support all aspects of Program evaluation, including creation of tools and databases
• Create publicity materials for the program and relevant courses, including brochures, websites and events
• Research and write stories about faculty and student projects
