Ready to make a difference at MIT and the world around you?

Students in the Service Learning Corps will work with peers, faculty, and community partners to develop curriculum to address community issues and advance Service Learning at MIT. Through these collaborations, students will develop valuable teamwork, networking, and organization skills.  Finally, students will be able to contribute to a sustainable solution to various community needs.

Ideal candidates will be creative, hard-working, organized, and ready to make a difference at MIT and the world around them.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting service learning staff with publicity, organization, and recruitment
• Working with faculty to brainstorm, develop, and design service learning projects.
• Reaching out to community organizations for potential partnerships with faculty.
• Identifying existing service learning classes.
• Analyzing service learning prospects.
• Administering assessments.
• Documenting and evaluating experiences, ideas, and feedback.
