What's the best part about your job?

I’m always inspired by the students. Whether it’s a project close to home, or far away, there are always interesting stories they share about their experience, the photos they send back are equally amazing. Their projects have a life of their own, and often morph into life-changing detours for not only the students, but the people they are helping.

What do you do for fun outside the office?

My background in making art has transferred into obsessing over paint colors, Craig’s List finds, the right light fixture, and overly ambitious sewing projects. I have two adorable daughters and my husband and I spend time tiring them out. Travel, a yoga class, making art, and reading a good book are all on standby.

What drew you to work for the PSC?

I wanted to do something where I felt like it made a difference in the bigger scheme of things. At the PSC, nothing is status quo; there is always room for doing something bravely innovative.
