What do you do for fun outside the office?

I play in an adult kickball league and enjoy Frisbee, hiking, camping, and cooking. Additionally, I spend my time volunteering at Waltham Community Farm, for political campaigns, and with Boston Cares' Civic Leadership Institute. I've recently become a successful worm composter and herb grower. With the time that remains, I enjoy exploring New England and traveling the US and abroad.

What drew you to work for the PSC?

I like that my work at the PSC supports the amazing service that MIT students engage in locally, nationally, and around the world. The PSC's ability to offer a wide range of service opportunities and resources to students really helps promote an ethic of service at MIT and I'm proud to be a part of that.

If you could travel anywhere in the world to take part in a service project, where would you want to go and why?

I would travel to a rural area in the U.S. to organize individuals to become civically engaged in their communities and local policy-making. By educating them about issues that are important to them, policy-making procedures, and organizing tactics, I'd facilitate informed participation as a means of fostering vibrant communities and improving individual's lives.
