Fellowships

Since 1990, the Public Service Fellowship program has provided MIT students with the opportunity to use their education, skills, and talents to address the needs of underserved communities around the world. Each year, 50 MIT students receive funding for a Public Service Fellowship, over fall, IAP, spring, and summer. Past Fellows have worked to build capacity for communities and organizations in 22 countries on four continents.

Whether it's helping a small Ecuadorian village with their potable water system or setting up a barcode data management system for a local homeless shelter, inspiration is never hard to find.
