Internships

Community service organizations that may host interns

You may undertake a Value Added Internship with an organization that has a formal internship program (such as those listed below), or you can arrange a “custom” internship with a non-profit, government office, international aid agency, school, or grassroots service organization.

Value Added Internship support may be applied to public service opportunities found through other MIT programs such as Externships, MISITI, UPOP, and FASIP.

On this page, we’ve listed some organizations that have formal internship programs. The Public Service Center does not endorse these organizations or their internships and the organizations have not committed to working with MIT students through the Value Added Internships program; they are given as examples only.

Organizations that would like their internship opportunities listed on this page should email Alison at psc-internships-staff@mit.edu
