Get Inspired

Through service learning, MIT faculty and students have partnered with community members to address real problems in the world, including poor irrigation technology in the developing world, communication to support new models of rare-disease research, and economic revitalization plans for New Orleans. Students have applied course concepts to address community needs, learned how to work with clients, and become more engaged in their academics. Faculty have tackled important and exciting issues in the context of their classes; and community partners have reaped the academic expertise that MIT has to offer.
