Head down Mass. Ave. to Central Square. Take a LEFT onto Western Avenue. (Note: if you were to take a right, the street would be Prospect - they are really the same street, just different names depending on which way you turn.) Follow Western Avenue past the police station (on right). Take a RIGHT onto Howard and take your first LEFT onto Callender Street. CCC will be on your right hand side. (Look for the orange slide.)

ReachOut Tutor Supply Grants

Do you have a cool idea or project you'd like to do with your ReachOut student? Something educational, yet fun for both you and your student? Instead of having to pull money out of your own pocket, you can now apply for a grant to fund the materials! Examples: Making a necklace out of lettered beads or making a board game.

How to apply for ReachOut Tutor Supply Grants

Step 1: Read and complete the application

Step 2: Email your request to reachout-staff@mit.edu and await approval from the ReachOut staff. All requests will be approved within 5 business days.

Step 3: Once your proposal is approved, print out a copy of the MIT Tax-Exempt Form, purchase your materials (tax-exempt, of course), and submit your receipts with a signed Request for Reimbursement Form to ReachOut, MIT Public Service Center, 4-104.

At the Tutoring Site

The following materials should be available to you at the site:
  • bookfolders
  • composition notebooks
  • stickers
  • session report forms (to be submitted to the on-site coordinator)

The on-site coordinator will read your session reports and give you feedback on how to deal with problems you may come across.
