Community Groups

Welcome to the PSC website! The PSC depends on community collaborations, so we want to keep you informed and in touch. Please look through these materials, and let us know if you have any questions or comments. We have much more to offer than we can quickly describe here, so also let us know if you would like to meet to discuss your particular school or organization.

You may want to download this Quick Guide to Publicity at MIT. One of the entries explains our Community Service Bulletin, which is emailed out every Wednesday to hundreds of students interested in service opportunities. In order to submit your opportunity, please fill out this Community Service Bulletin form. If you submit your opportunity by noon on Friday, we'll try to post it in the bulletin for the following week. You can resubmit the item as often as you like, until your need is filled. See the online version of the bulletin here to learn what sorts of things others have submitted.

You may want to investigate the possibility of working with a Service Learning class or you may be able to suggest a challenging service project for MIT students to work on.

Thanks to the generosity of the MIT Class of 1996, we also can help US organizations that want to hire an MIT work-study student, but can’t afford to pay for their portion of the wages. The Class of 1996 Fund may be able to help by paying them for you. Please contact us if you’re interested in learning more about this!
