where to look
The PSC depends on community collaborations, so we want to keep you informed and in touch through, in part, our Quick Guides. See the links at the left of this page to choose the Quick Guide that is right for you. We have much more to offer than we can quickly describe here, so also let us know if you would like to meet to discuss your particular school or organization.
Download this Quick Guide to Publicity at MIT. One of the entries explains our Community Service Bulletin, which is emailed out every Wednesday to students interested in service opportunities. To find out more about posting an opportunity, go to http://web.mit.edu/mitpsc/wheretolook/bulletin/csb-posting-form.html
You can repost the item as often as you like until your need is filled.
You may want to investigate the possibility of working with a Service Learning class or you may want to suggest a challenging service project for an MIT student to work on to work with you. We welcome both US and international projects.
Thanks to the generosity of the MIT Class of 1996, we also can help US organizations that want to hire an MIT work-study student, but can’t afford to pay for their portion of the wages. The Class of 1996 Fund may be able to help by paying them for you. Please contact Linden McEntire at email:email@example.com if you’re interested in learning more about this.
