After I graduated from college, I was fortunate enough to have a community engagement fellowship experience where I worked in marketing communications for a community-based multidisciplinary art center. Having experienced the value of student/community engagement firsthand, I was very eager to find this position at the PSC. I was very impressed with the breadth of resources that the PSC provides the MIT community in order to assist others find rich and meaningful public service experiences.
As communications coordinator, I work to communicate the programs and stories of the PSC through a variety of media. I’m looking forward to working with some very enthusiastic and dedicated colleagues and MIT students here at the Public Service Center.
I like to watch (probably way too much) television and movies and root for Syracuse basketball and Yankees baseball. I also enjoy playing piano, traveling, and visiting with friends, and as someone new to the Boston area, I hope to do a lot of exploring around in the coming months.
