What drew you to work for the PSC?

The mission of and possibilities at the Public Service Center are what drew me to work here. Students can enter into the world of the PSC with the starts of an idea and leave armed with opportunities. With the IDEAS Competition and Global Challenge, I am part of a team that helps innovation move forward towards the betterment of the world.

If you could travel anywhere in the world to take part in a service project,
where would you want to go and why?

I am fascinated by what is possible when people are brought together to share their knowledge. My ideal service project would be to create a traveling knowledge exchange program. It would take a group of innovators from place to place to learn from each other and work together towards better solutions. Imagine Maker Faire Africa meets Semester at Sea.

What do you do for fun outside the office?

I'm an explorer by nature – by foot, by bicycle, by book or conversation. I try to learn as much as I possibly can. At the moment I'm working on honing my fiction-writing and cartography skills.
