Mission
The purpose of MIT Students for Israel [aka: MITSI] is threefold:
[1] To bring a greater understanding of the state of Israel to all
students at MIT by providing educational and constructive programming
concerning the politics, current events, and culture, and history of Israel. MITSI intends to raise awareness of and excitement for Israel and events in the Middle East with a pro-Israel perspective and general good will.
[2] To serve as an open forum to the MIT community in which students of all backgrounds and persuasions can feel free to express their opinions within the constraints of intellectual honesty regarding Israel, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and other related issues in a safe and educational environment.
[3] To be a pro-active force on campus, playing a role advocating for policy that affects Israel's and America's national security on the community and national level by being politically involved.
