Oh happy day! Oathar's chindren are born. "Child-*ren*?" you say? Yes indeed. It appears that Arisia and Oathar have had twins! Identical twins at that. Neeland and Rylec.

Alynna and Imre present the twins with Baby's First Spell Book. (1-5 level of all standard open and closed essense lists plus Comfort Ways.) Haeraan presents them with Baby Bracelets of Landing. Heraan endows a new class of paladins in the twins' names.

Much joy is shared.

The prince declares a day of celebration for his new grandchildren. Arisia and her kids glow. Oathar networks. Older noble houses say "Bah." a lot. The Preist of Andaras toys with the twins. Bah.

Orhan 3 Day 49 TE 6059

We train in Selkai for a month!!! We each fill back up to 3 fate points.

We hear about news. The lugraki in Zor are gathering.

Down in Ardania, the emporer Alderaan has issued a call for the descendants of the old empire to return and help restore the Empire.

A note arrives at the villa for Alynna written in Linear. "Long have I wandered through a dark dream. Now I see the cause of my torment. If you wish to see your brother alive again, you will come to Zor!" Alynna quickly heads to the bard school and checks on her brother. Hmm... He's not been seen for a week. He went on holiday break and vanished. He said he was going to visit Alynna.

Oathar investigates her brother's room and thinks there was a struggle. Kyrik, Oathar, and Imre determine that the note was written here in Sel-Kai, eight days ago, by Aaron. Sigh.

We must off to Zor!

We sail with the morning tide. We have fair winds and good weather.

We arrive at Lethys. We head north!

We apparently skirt around Haalkataine!

Orhan 4 Day 20 TE 6059

We arrive at Griffin College. We're warmly greeted. As warmly as ever.

King Mornan comes down and greets us. He is distressed at our news. He offers to join us and lead us into Zor.

Anton tells us that the mutant lugraki of Zor seems to have found their messiah. He's apparently an elf. Some sort of dark magic user. (We think he's an evil Bard, but Anton guesses he's a channeling user.)

Mornan Zaon is thinking about marching forth to find the scatter descendants of Zor. We convince him to stay in Zor.

Orhan 4 Day 30 TE 6059

We travel a week into Zor. We discuss politics en route. We then teleport to the memorial.

There's a pouch stuck near one of the edges of the memorial. In the pouch is a wrapped scroll. "Welcome to Zor. If you wish to see him alive, you will go 20 miles north of here. Wait there." This one was written 5 days ago by Aaron, right here.

We don't have much information, so we run headlong into the ambush. We ride north. We see a group of figures standing on a hill. Tradewind sees five guys. Beyond them are five more. There are four lugraki and an elf in both groups.

We approach the first group. We see four lugraki and a linaer with white hair and ripply black chaos armor. Blech. We ride to 50 feet and he tells us to halt. The four with the prisoner point swords at him and ours says, "Enough! Surrender yourselves to me or he dies!"

Alynna appeals to his good side. He doesn't have one. He demands we surrender so Alynna can be sacrificed. Haeraan and Oathar leave to the prisoner group.

Combat begins. Imre raises his hand and whispers "Feel Eissa's Might." His four lugraki fall over dead. The other four lugraki hack the hostage into bits. A hilarious comedy of body parts and teleporting ensues. Alynna gets brutalized by her evil brother.

In fact, she dies. We save her brother, but she's done. Haeraan and Imre work on her body. Oathar says, "She would have wanted us to finish off the orcs." He strides over and destroys them with horrible power. "Should you really lightning bolt the ashes?"

We take the bodies to the memorial, and Imre conducts the ritual of life giving. A beam of light comes down, and Imre goes up to talk to Alynna.

Alynna is brought back to us. Hooray! (Though now she's -100 to everything for about 50 days.)

Imre then turns his attention to bringing her brother back.

Seeing that Alynna is doomed, Oathar teleports the party back to Sel-kai.
