We travel towards the rock. The guides tell us tales of Aggothu on the way...

We march north into the desert with our three guides. They want us to party with their strange fermented liquids!

Orhan 5 Day 57 TE 6060

Imre casts his hangover relief spells on Imre and Oathar. The Blazing Horse (Aziz) and Flowing Wind (Jahena) tribes adopt us. Alem, Barat, and Caleb are our guides, all from the Blazing Horse tribe.

We wander around in the desert.

Orhan 5 Day 59 TE 6060

We come to another oasis! Imre, Oathar, and the Guides swim, and we camp. Early the next morning, Alem finds a lamp. Oathar sleeps him and grabs the lamp. Caleb grabs it but Imre sleeps them. Imre casts forget on all of our guides to make them forget. Oathar puts them back to bed and hope they didn't notice.

Tragedy averted, we continue on.

But then a giant essense sand storm arrives. We hide near some rocks, but we're doomed we think. We make what preparations we can and then the storm hits. Many people risk burnout as they get more essense than they can hold, but no on eburns out. Our Essicrystia expand and Kyrik and Imre's backpacks open.

We take lot's of damage and possible burnout, but eventually the storm passes. Unfortunately, our essicrystia are now the size of boulders and we think that draining them in a hurry will trigger another essense storm.

We camp to recover, while Oathar memorizes the location since we need to bury the essicrystia here.

Orhan 5 Day 67 TE 6060

We wander through the desert. The desert gives way to rock. We head towards the mushroom shaped rock.

We camp in the badlands. People on watch notice the Agothu phasing in and out in the distance.

Orhan 5 Day 68 TE 6060

We head out. The Agothu get thicker and hanging out. We turn a corner and encounter Blinky. He won't let us pass. Then two giant squid shimmer in and hang out with Blinky. Then blinky turns and starts leading us deeper into Agothu land.

Blinky leads up to the center of an open area. Then four more blinkies materialize forming a square around us with the original blinky above us. The Tresh circulate around. A faintly glowing sphere surrounds us and a vaguely humanoid shape eight feet tall (with a skull head) shows up. It shambles up and delivers a strange device to one of the blinkies. The Blinky then holds the strange device in front of each of our faces. It looks like some sort of organic fleshy geode.

One of the guide breaks so we sleep him. Blinky then wants him, so we let Blinky examine the guys. Then Imre gets cut off from the rest of us and Blinky extends a tenticle to him. He gets across the Imre should cast Sleep X on the tenticle. So he does. The blinkies all get excited. So Imre casts lord sleep on them.

They get excited. The Oathar casts Word of Sleep, then Resist Criticals, then Oathar gets slimed by tentacles. Yuck.

Kyrik then casts Copy I on a list and then switches to another list when Blinky "requests" a bigger spell. Resist Relief I, followed by Unpain I, Extend Endurance II, Stun Relief II, but then fails a spell roll horribly and falls over.

Alynna tries and goes up the Transport list. At merge, Alynna is horrified to discover that Blinky merges with her. It's horrible! Horrible!!! But short. Then all the Blnkys but one vanish and we are alone with Blinky. We pick up our fallen guide and bring him along as we head towards the mushroom shaped rock.

Alynna finds the entrance. We head in. We stick our rings and hands into the sphere and the niches all along the room open and in Alynna's are a pair of boots.

We teleport back to the essicrystia stash. We drink again in celebration. Very drunk.

During our celebration, Barat discovers the lamp and while drunk manages to get a wish off for all of the money in the world! "Very well Master!" Wealth pours out of the heavens....

We get pummled by coins. We grab the lamp and Oathar uses his final wish to unwish the stupid wish. We get out of there because another essense storm is coming from the Genii's stuff!
