Orhan 5 Day 1 TE 6061

We manage to clear out the guards near the door of the room, but as our eyes adjust to the light we see the vast hordes beyond preparing to charge.

A guy with burnished red/gold plate mail with snake motifs rise up from a lower level to meet us. We weilds a red/gold two handed sword.

He's AT 18 DB 150, so we're kind of bummed. Kyrik at least, is thrilled that the guy turns out to be an enemy of the empire. Oh yeah, and the guy has 20 mooks.

We fight!

Kyrik and the big guy get into a slug fest while the rest of us try to fight with the mooks. It's slow going all around, but we manage. It gets pretty grim. The healer has but 1 power point left, Kyrik is down three times over on hit points, (in that kyrik way). Everyone is bleeding! And yet 6 mooks and the big guy still stand! New Moon goes down. Sand rushes in to first aid him and well, his bleeding increases.

We end with almost no hit points and fewer power points, but eventually we do in fact manage to hit the self destruct rune and flee.

Yay! The Death Sphere blows up!

We gain a level! Huzzah!

We also get a great medal ceremony! Woo! A princess gives us all medals. Now it's time to go on the offensive. We must accompany the "bothan spies" and bring them to the border of Lankonok. Once they get there, they'll be picked up by another group, and escorted into Lankonok where they will change the enemy orders.
