Orhan 3 Day 38 TE 6063

We board a ship bound for Kaitaine to get dropped off in the Roschelles. An herbalist tells us that Rudteckma (-20 melee, +20 SCSM, 10% chance friendslayer), gort (euphoric +10 ment RR), zappik (euphoric +50 SCSM when overcasting), borga (hallucinagen), bassira (perceive essense flows and magic), alzo (+50 adrenal maneuver rolls), ezrin (-30 melee,+50 spell /missile), finrot (hallucinagin and prophesy), seck (releaves coma), effrim (nerve regen), gersimel (bone repair), and schlorp (lifekeeping 10 days) are amoung the many herbs that can be found in the Roschelles. Even lifegiving herbs such as salufah flowers are available.

Kyrik stays behind to participate in the holy rituals of Kieron.

Orhan 3 Day 41 TE 6063

There's a little fishing village dominated by the Temple of Neela and hosting lots of adventurers who have come in search of drugs.

Oathar heads to the temple and sacrifices to Neela and prays to knowledge. Oathar, gets a vision in the jungle with a large green python slithering across the ground to a woman tied up against a tree, where the tree turns into an altar and she is crushed and eaten.

Haeraan goes pub crawling looking for evil temples to smite. He bribes everyone in sight until someone tells him about the Cult of the Python and their big temple in the jungle. At the base of the extinct volcano.

Meanwhile Kyrik has wandered off to see if he could make a meet for his wife. Oathar can't find him in Selkai, so people end up waiting a day.

People stay at Oathar's almost abandoned house in the main town here.

Orhan 3 Day 42 TE 6063

Alynna, and Imre get up early and go looking for herbs.

Alynna finds a blenna fruit (10d10 healing). Imre finds whole stacks of really useful stuff. Lot's of Gort. (Gort is known as sniff on the streets of Sel-kai and is fairly illegal.)

Oathar goes to get Kyrik. He's sleepy.

People get some supplies and hire a pair of native guides. Haeraan negotiates a nice low price for the guides. Oathar is proud.

That day we head into the jungle.

That night, we are awakened to find 12 foot pythons in all of our tents trying to get us.

Pythons are everywhere! We fight. Pythons try to eat Oathar. Everyone kills them. We fill our tents with blood.

Then Imre makes new tents and put up smell illusions to keep snakes away. We survive the rest of the night.

Orhan 3 Day 43 TE 6063

We press on towards the cultists.

We send our guides back. Walking up the path we encounter three guys, two of whom are in armor and one in robes. Alynna yells, "Surrender or die!" Oathar blows them up with a fireball before they can decide. Alynna finishes the one guy.

We continue on the way.

We Run I up the road and come to a clearing with the temple in it. We run right up to it. We head into the clearing and a bunch of guards attack us. There are a few priests ready to get us up on the ramp from the temple too. Next week, we fight!
