Alynna investigates the palace in Ardania with the Lens of Strok. She doesn't find out much.

Oathar investigates Alaxatan. They are doing weapons shipments to Ardania and wine. There's also a lot of evil leather in Danarchis. Oathar also checks out the Kaeden nests on Zinvar. Giant web hives. He also watches while one of his ships gets pirated by the flag of the white swan.

Ardania does a lot of importing. More importing than exporting. Wealth just appears from somewhere. The Ardanian wealth (a gold coin) was made on Votania, by a half Dyar/half Loar, and it was made a month ago.

Kyrik gets his turn on the lens. He looks in on the old regional capitals.

• Ardan Unicorn: There's nothing there. Perhaps a few things sticking up from the ground. Perhaps excavateable.
• Relas Lion: Kenazon, Sigh.
• Coran Hawk: Nothing.
• Leonas Wyvern: Nothing.
• Coranon Crown: Small town controlled by Lankanok. Excavation needed to find anything.

He checks out his university site, and then notices the massive looting in Votania. Then he investigates the City of the Dead looking for loot.

Kyrik also confirms the location of the Library of Essense. (In Stroane territory.) On top of the central building is inscribed the symbol of Voriig Kye. He also checks out Imre's island of fire complete with the temple glowing with unholy power.

The isle of Glass (Order of the Sun) is completely scryguarded.

Kyrik also checks out the Komaran winter palace. It's intact but also empty. Odd.

The isle of Jade is dominated by a large temple at the center of the isle. They seem to be worshipping dragon symbols, complete with sacrifices. "If they're sacrificing people, they can't be all good." -Kyrik

"Voriig Kye is a good guy right?" -Kyrik

Everyone is out of exhaustion points, so we all sleep, while Imre stands night guard.

Oathar gives the seer the finest cheeses and wines, and promises more when we return. OK, the seer grudginly accepts that we'll be back someday and that's fine. Just don't tell folks.

Old Stampy heads into the Spine of Emer looking for a gold mine. We promise him 10%.

We write up a report of Gireg Jan and the Loremasters. He basically says, "Why aren't you in Kenezon."

We disguise ourselves as priests and infiltrate Kenezon. They let us into the inner keep inside the city. All hail Akalatan! We head back to the outer city after getting scared.

We priests head into an establishment and commandeer a back corner table while our servant (Haeraan) heads to the bar to gather info while we chat our secret stuff.

Haeraan watches as a priest type is getting trashed at the bar. He briefs the rest of us and goes to investigate. He seems depressed and sloshed. "I don't need you! I don't need anybody." He says that he needs Sendar and Sendil killed or they're all doomed.

We hustle him out before troops arrive, but fail. We get hustled out before troops arrive. But they arrive to fast. So we let ourselves get captured by the Kurtum's secret police. We recognize one of the younger guys as the High Priest of Akalatan. The Kurtum himself is here. He asks to see our true shape. We decloak.

He asks us where we are from. "The one raised up in Ardania is the false emporer. We represent the true empire."

Kurtum: "We then may have things we can offer each other."

They're up to hundreds a week, and the royal treasury is empty, we're getting smote. We'll withdraw from everywhere, if you'll get rid of Sendar and Sendil.
