Session 281

In which our heroes ...

Orhan 4 Day 1 TE 6064

We cross to the tundra. We activate THE INAUGURAL USE OF THE CUBE OF ICE ARMOR!!! We head down and investigate the frozen tundra. Snow demons attack. But we were expecting that. We fight! They take slaying from fire. Yay Oathar! Alynna breaks her hand. Then we won.

Sadly, they have no loot.

Sigh. Going around, we come down through the Salufa tree hole and head ot the waterfall. (Being careful to not encounter the Salufa tree donut shards.)

Haeraan goes to the waterfall and swims upstream though the tiny passage. He shrinks and goes through the small passageways the water is coming from.

Haeraan and Alynna turn into fish and swim as far up as they can. Haeraan makes it outside and finds himself at the Animist lake and then finds that the animists are trying to catch him. (with fishing). He also discovers a second entrance on the other side of the animists' lake.

After some shenanigans, we make it to said passageway and head through towards the unmapped sphere. It's a typical between sphere passageway, but is much longer. It curves and heads south, continuing for quite a while. Goodness, it's quite long. We head down for a a half dozen miles. At the end of the passageway is a blank wall with a lever.

Oathar pulls the lever and the wall slides open. Inside is a (bulged) triangular room thirty feet on a side. We are in one corner. It's set up as an emergency living space it looks like. Dry goods, beds, etc. There's another level on one of the adjacent walls. There's also a hidden door in one of the opposite corners. One of the boxes has small orange orb.

The other lever makes a small triangle descend from the ceiling. There's a chamber above. We get on the platform and flip the switch up to the next chamber. We're in an identical room, except this one has a tringular colum in each corner. There's an orb glowing on one of the center walls. It glows with rainbow light and radiates mentalism. Oathar goes and touches the orb. He gets a message.

"I am the mind's archive." Then it mind controls Oathar. He sees a vision:

There's a group of people standing around on an island and they point up to a blue dragon flying by.

Then Oathar falls over. When he comes to, he see niches in columns that no one else sees. In one of the columns is a wooden box. Inside the box is a wand of dark brown hardwood with a clear yellow orb. 18 inches long.

In the second column are two boxes. One box has another set of Bracers of uniting. Also, a green crystal.

In the third column is a sword (see treasure).

Alynna touches the orb. She sees:

Yahk Mul standing before the animists and charging them with guarding the caves. If another diaster happens we must preserve what we can of life on this planet. He turns around, mutates into a blue dragon and flies off.

Haeraan touches the orb. He sees:

A tall elf (Dyar) all in black is standing on the island with the Salufa tree. He snarls at the tree and casts a spell, which fails. "So be it!" He gestures to someone else, who says, "As you wish my lord." That guy summons one of the giant black Eog pillars around the tree.

Kyrik touches it. He gets Oathar's vision and falls over.

Imre touches the orb. He gets a vision:

Two figures are standing on a barren hillside. One is YahkMul and the other is Andraax. Andraax hands YahkMul a ring, bid him goodbye, and vanishes.

YahkMul puts it on, turns into a blue dragon, and flies away.

We take the elevator up yet another floor. Now we're in a building. In front of us is a fairly big Dragon statue. There's a small hole at the top of the ceiling. Engraved on the walls is a story in Kugor:

It's the tale of YahkMul. For those who seek the inner way of the dragon, give the gift of life with both hands.

There are big metal doors leading outside. It's a big temple on the isle of bridge caves.

We stab ourselves on the dragon's teeth with both hands and then head back down to level 3. There we explore the extra secret door we failed to investigate earlier.

Sixteen miles down the passage, we make camp.

Orhan 4 Day 2 TE 6064

Four miles later, T intersection. Left is a quick path up leading to the shore of the isle of bridge caves.

The rest of the thing goes straight. We careen down the cavern, it goes down, then back up. After 5 or 6 miles it opens into a cave on the seashore of the island with the circle of stones.

We debate a while.

Back to the high chamber, and then to the Coral Road entrance. At the coral road entrance, we emerge into a 20-30 foot chamber with teh usual portal-ly door. There's a stairway leading up and down. We go up to see where we are. We're on the eastern shore of an island. Eastern coast of Yan-Tanis.

We head down and come to a curved doorway. Opening it, we find a perfectly smooth tunnel heading west. As we walk, a breeze come up from behind us pushing us along. After a while, there is a light up ahead. There's a window on the side of the corridor looking out into the ocean. We continue on. Every so often there is a window. After about 2 or three hours of walking we come to another doorway. We take it and head upwards on the edge of the shore. We're in NorthEastern Moliera. (The next continent over.)

We spend a long time berating Kyrik for not telling us about these things for the last 20 years.

Haeraan's tracking indicates that no one has used these things in ages.

We spend a day getting a teleport point on Molieria.

Orhan 4 Day 3 TE 6064

We head back to the east via the Coral Road. After a couple hours we're back at the starting point. After an hour we come to another exit. It goes out on a shore on a wintery island. On the Mur Fostisyr. It continues east. We head east.

After a half hour, we emerge just east of the island of Murthran on the mainland.

We're warping space and time...

We head on and find ourselves way up on an island in tha arctic. Next....Northeastern Kelestia, almost to Galt.

We head back west.

Orhan 4 Day 4 TE 6064

We head back to the Salufa tree hold. We use the mirror and activate the tree. A flower blooms. Imre goes to retrieve it.

We head back to the wave motion cannon. Kyrik draws the sword. Many people go blind. Kyrik takes a point of damage. Then he senses the unheat sword to the northeast being drawn.

Imre and Oathar activate the Wave Motion Cannon. Order: Fire, water, light, ice, air, earth the pattern the floor shines and turns into a map of Northwestern Jaiman. Imre is telepathically given instructions:

Decide upon strike point and form.

Pick centerpoint for effect. Final Option: Final Strike

Final Strike Centerpoint can not be moved. Final Strike Parameter: Flowstorm (1000 mile radius)
