We get to the central sphere rool. There is the Orb of the Unlife. There also are some monks and priests. With a really big priest there too. It's perilous combat on platforms suspended over oblivion! Then several type 6 demons are summoned and start smiting us. The priests stay up for a while while we fight monks and demons. Pesky...

The fight continues...

We start wining less. Darned channeling spells from the priests.

It's a back and forth battle of doom. At one point the party is at -7 Fate points. Then we get back up to -2 or something, which isn't as good as you might think.

The high priest taps directly into the orb of unlife and becomes omnipotent. Imre throws Anti-channels around and takes him down to only pluri-potent. Minor priests and monks die by the dozen, as do our hit points. Voriig Kye scrolls are used to stand Alynna back up to full from just about dead.

But she goes down eventually and Imre claims her soul.

The high priest escapes, all other bad guys die. The orb of unlife is gone, the two blades are destroyed.

The whole place falls into a giant lava pit and we flee. All that is left is a giant volcanic crater.

Eissa's quest is complete, we all go back up to 3 fate points. Something like 19 fate points were spent in that mess.

Oathar teleports everyone including Vana and Niko to the villa for debriefing.
