Oathar issues financial reports....

We check on the progress of the Ardanian invasion. They have a supply base in Nuyom Kom now, and pretty much completely interdict those trade waters. Ardanian forces have been seen by Oathar's caravans, etc. They're clearly planing on regular garrisons, supply depots, etc. They're establishing advance supply dumps. The Sel-kai invasion is predicted for last spring 6065.

Pocantos is here looking for military aid, but no one is helping them, because we need the resources here. Trade with Kaitaine has picked up because of the stupid pirates around Sel-Kai.

Kaitaine sponsored a mission to explore Zinvar. It vanished.

Kyrik's wife makes an official state visit to Sel-Kai. Their marriage is officially announced.

Simon wins a special prize at the school magic faire for his summoning powers. We're not entirely sure, but we think he summoned an Agothu and a Althoi, etc. Actually, we think those things just showed up to watch when Simon was summoning a minor demon. Pesky.

Haeraan gets a small package in the mail. inside is a pendant with a bluish crystal on the end of a silver chain. Oathar determines that it is mentalist based and not cursed. Haeraan attunes to it and sees an image of an eye floating over Votania. Then it sweeps around and comes to rest pointing towards Kaitaine. He sees an image of the central square of Kaitaine with the clock chiming noon, while the cryer shouts out the date Orhan 1 Day 2.

Alynna gives an advanced class at her school. She's got 15 students now. It's her niece's birthday, and she wants to know where daddy is. Byron ships Alynna an improved bicycle, it's like a six speed. He's experimenting with shock absorbers too. They're still intersted in the bicycle race.

Oathar gets a nice invitation from the Church of Shaal to come to a service. He heads over to as not to antagonize them. High Priest Ragar grets him and sits him right up front. The high priest gives a sermon about the power of storms. We should praise Shaal who brings the storms that will cleanse the pirates. The storm shall herald our coming! We shall crush the infidels! They invite Oathar to come back any time. Shaal is great! Neela thinks he's too serious.

Imre has a long long talk with Simon. About 18th birthday and souls and the like. Simon suggests vacating his body before the ritual to possess him and destroying his soul happened. Turns out Simon was born on the outer planes... His mom was human, his father was unspeakable. When he looks at a little letter, it says Orhan 1 Day 8 6066. Imre calls an emergency conference. Kyrik goes over a prophesy we got a very long time ago from the Loremasters.

Haeraan channels Dreams III to Oathar:

1. Neela needs a major temple associated with a major population center. She needs a grand cathedral.
2. There's a pool. There's a bunch of boys splashing in the pool fighting. There's a gaggle of girls on the edge watching the boys. The groups ignore each other. Neela's with the girls.
3. "All those poor cows you drowned! and the frogs! and the fish! and the deer! and the fluffy things! and the crabs!"

Alynna gets invited to the grand ball of the Eridan Sky Trade Alliance. Arisia makes sure everyone goes. Alynna gets a bunch of order hits off of the people at the party. People encourage Alynna to flirt with the sky captains, as everyone wants them to stay in town when the invasion comes. Especially the dashing Captain Rack. After they flirt for a while, he pulls out a gold plated chit, marked with a pair of dice on once side and labeled The Lucky Double on the other. and gives it to her. "If you every want to get on board my ship, just show one of my crew this." thy make a date.

Reports from Zor: The Halkataine emporer has moved two legions into Kyrik's duchy aiding in the security of Zor. Actually, they seem to be parcelling it up. But at least they do battle mutant orcs and the like. The fremen are doing well. Them, but the Rakhani have beaten the lugraki down quite a bit.

Stampy has discovered another mine. But it's unusual, so Oathar and Kyrik head down to check it out. He's sure it's a mine, but it's pretty weird, so they go investigate. We head into the mountains and into a hidden cave. It starts off as a natural cavern. Then there's a section that's been tunneled out. It opens up into an area that's been mined, except there's no evidence of tools or the other detrius of mining. Over at one side is a decaying pile of organic matter. Oathar casts some spells and sees a floating gas bag with a number of arms descending. He decides it's a dead Nydas Canal. Looks like they were mining iron, gold, and platinum. Sadly, it's not an easily workable mine any more, since all the easy stuff was taken.

Oathar goes to talk to Vidaro, Kyrik's mad architect, and starts planing the Grand Cathedral of Neela. The people shall looks up and marvel and their lives will be changed. One in a hundred will fall away dead from its majesty. They will look up, and it will be the culmination of all they desired to see. They will simply wilt away happy. Oathar feeds the architects mad vision and then goes on. One in ten will look up and be struck dumb.

Alynna and her date have a great time on his sky ship and then heads over to the Villa for dinner. He sends her flowers after their date saying that he'll be back, and she should contact him.
