Time to head up to the bridge or death.

AFter some fussing around, we manage to get Oathar up to the perilous bridge. We make our way carefully north along the bridge and get to the coverns of really dark darkness. Luckily, we've got lot's of darksight in the party.

We sneak around in caves.

We find an undrground stagnant lake. It's likely got a kraken in it. Kyrik tries to fly across the lake to scout, but kraken tentacles come up and grab him, while a cave spider leaps down upon him from above. We counterattack, but lot's of spells fail. It's pretty grim. Kyrik gets spider-bit. The kraken gets stunned, so we deal with the spiders first.Oathar eradicates the additional spiders coming for the main party, so all that remains is Kyrik's spider. Imre crushes its head.

We head deeper into the caves and find a troop of lugraki. Haeraan shapeshifts to a lugrak and heads in. He drops a command spell on the sergeant and says, "Serve me!" Sadly, it is resisted. But he tries the bluff. We fight. Actually, Alynna goes bezerk and starts slaying like there's no tomorrow.

They die, and die. The killing continues. Until Alynna runs out of Lugraki.

We patch her up and start exploring further. We dodge a couple of lugraki patrols and continue to scout around.

Finally, we find Lugraki headquarters and after some arguing, send Alynna in for the slayage! Most lugraki flee like mad, although some get killed. We do recover their battle plans, which marks a path down south into Krylite territory.

We take the map, and head off from there.
