In which our heroes ...
Orhan 3 Day 33 TE 6063
Eventually, we arrive! Huzzah! Quellbourne levels up!
To get them through the winter, we need to spend 500 gold.
Orhan 3 Day 35 TE 6063
We decide to fly down over the Forest of Deer and the Blue Forest to avoid
the shards as we head down to the half-elf village.
Oathar flubs a navigation roll and leads the party off into the wilderness.
The party accidentally flies to the red dragonlord's lair. He notices
us and we flee to Quellbourne, and then out into the snowy wastes.
But sadly we have a feeling of being watched.
We teleport back to Quellborne, and find that there are demons running
around. We kill them, but the villagers are freaking out now. We calm them
down.
Then Imre goes up to the clairvoy point to kiss dragon butt. He diplomacies
at the clairvoy point for a while and then suddenly, on the ground before
him appears a scroll.
It's a map with quellborne and the forest and a big red line drawn on
it. On his side of the line. The elves are on our side of the line...sort
of. Perhaps not. Maybe they're on hims side. Damn.
On the back of the map is a place to sign the treaty. Imre signs it and
it vanishes along with the scry point.
Having signed the treaty, we decide now is not the best time to violate
his borders, so we go to sleep and try again in the morning.
Orhan 3 Day 36 TE 6063
We start to leave and the villagers freak out again.
Oathar goes to buy swords and one good sword and gives them to Haeraan
to form a militia. He appoints Joe, Captain of Quellborne (pro tem). They
go off and work on hunting together as a group.
They practice for a while and it's clear Imre can never leave if they
are going to practice with real swords. So Haeraan sends them into the
woods to find practice swords. Haeraan is going to have to stay here for
training.
Orhan 3 Day 37 TE 6063
We head to the edge of Hrazi Territory and head right in flying.
They fly up to meet us and we send Kyrik over to them alone as ambassador.
Oh dear, what were we thinking.
A bunch of them fly over and investigate him. He says he's here to meet
old friends Sand and Giraen. They are not impressed as our kind are not
wanted here, but they do decide to go check our story.
We land and wait. and wait. and wait. and talk about slugs and skulls,
and wait.
Then the Hrazi returns and we are granted permission to enter the city.
They bring us in under heavy escort. They put us in a tower to wait, and
after a while a servant comes with water and wine and snack.
Then Sand shows up and asks if it's about an emergency that will draw
him far far away from his toddler.
They discuss for a while. The party needs at least 50, possibly more Hrazi
warriors to attack a tower. Sand thinks they can get that if they sack
on of the human cities. No one really wants to do that.
After a while, Sand mentions that there's a population of rocs up in the
mountain. If the party can capture the largest female roc, then they could
get roc eggs. Yup, we definitely shoudl go capture a roc. How hard could
that be?
We get all silent and scentlss and invisible and head up into the hills
to scout. We find two adult rocs in a nest. We get all ready to attack
and will come back next time to get them.
Orhan 3 Day 38 TE 6063
Next time.... We get the rocs!
