About the artists:

Marion Leeds Carroll, soprano, holds degrees from Barnard College and the Mannes College of Music. Her teachers and coaches have included H. Wesley Balk, Nico Castel, D'Anna Fortunato, Boris Goldovsky, and Brian Moll. Marion made her operatic and recital debuts in New York City, and has performed and directed opera and Gilbert and Sullivan in New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, and Massachusetts. At MIT, Marion is a Senior Secretary for the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Brian Moll, pianist, has studied, performed, directed and taught in Europe, Asia, and throughout the United States. He is currently the Chair of the Collaborative Piano Department of the Longy School of Music, Assistant Director of the Opera Department of Boston Conservatory, Music Director of Longwood Opera, and pianist for the Handel and Haydn Society.
