Applying Online - Getting Started

Creating your Account

  • Click the "Apply Online" button, which appears on the right-side of the screen throughout the MLOG website

  • MIT Graduate Admissions website will pop up; select "Application", located on the left side of the screen

  • A new screen entitled "How to Apply" will appear; select "Apply Online" under the heading "All Other Departments and Programs"; then click, on "Create your Account"

  • You then fill out a Graduate Admissions form. When completed, submit the form - and a screen will pop up confirming your username and password. Next, click on "General Instructions"

  • You should read this page thoroughly. Then click on "Go to Application"

  • The next screen provides several choices. From here you can download and print both application instructions and recommendation forms for evaluators who do not want to complete online forms. You can also proceed to the online application by selecting "Department Information and Online Applications"

  • Next you will see a list of departments. Look for "Center for Transportation & Logistics," click on the "Online Application and Information" that appears next to it

  • On the following screen, click on "Online Application" - it appears on the right-side of the screen. After you enter your username and password in the spaces provided, you will gain access to your online application

Completing your Online Application

The online application is fairly straightforward, but there are a few selections you must make in order for your application to be processed through MLOG. On the "Application Information" page:

  • For "Proposed Term of Entrance", select "September"
  • For "Department" (if it's not already filled in), chose "Center for Transportation & Logistics"
  • For "Initial Degree Objective", choose "M. Eng in Logistics"

If you experience any problems with your online application process, please email our Admissions Coordinator Saskia Michl at smichl@mit.edu.
