The MLOG class of 2009 consists of 35 students from 9 countries.
The average age is 30 years; and the class brings with it an average of almost 7 years of work experience.
The new students are coming to MIT from companies that include Menlo Logistics, John Galt Solutions, Accenture, Motorola, Johnson & Johnson, Walmart.com, Cisco and more. At these companies, members of the MLOG class of 2009 held positions ranging from Logistics Engineer to Senior Consultant to Operations Analyst to CEO.
Students who took the GMAT scored between 620 and 770 with a median
of 710. Those who opted to take the GRE had a median score
of 600 for the verbal component, with scores ranging from 540 to
710, and a median score of 760 on the quantitative component, with
scores ranging from 640 to 800.
International students who were required to take the TOEFL internet based test scored
between 104 and 118 with a median of 111.
